[...] There was dessert, the brought pumpkin cheesecake and ancho-chili crème brûlée that the Viking had made. Overall it was a pretty satisfying meal, if a bit disjointed due to my timing issues. Maybe you’re interested in seeing what the food looked like, or perhaps the recipes. Go ahead and take a look at the Viking’s food blog for all the details.
I think we've had fish and chips now at three different places in town. Defying all expectations, the best has been the seafood place in the middle of the food court at the Westfield Mall. Crisp breading, not greasy, light, flaky fish, and fries that stood on their own. They also had asparagus spears (roasted, I think) with lemon aioli - which I liked on the fish better than their tartar sauce (not that it was bad, just love aioli). I think the whole meal, drinks included, was about $15 between the two of us.

Pani puri is one of my favorite things in the whole universe. The best is buying them off street carts. Adventure times! And of course getting them into your mouth before the water leaks out.

That sounds awesome. I'd been getting up to Maine about twice a year before my job in Omaha killed that, and so I haven't had a proper lobster roll in over a year and a half. So sad! I'll have to drag Sam over there.
